5 Beauty Products I Never Stop Buying (as a Former Beauty Trends Editor)
One of the things I love most about beauty is that there’s always something new to discover. Whether it’s the latest ingredient, an innovative format or a new launch from one of my favourite brands, I’m constantly testing products and refreshing my routine. But every so often, a product earns a permanent place.
These are the products I’ve repurchased time and time again. They’re not necessarily the newest, most groundbreaking or most expensive, but they’re always the ones I replace – even before they’ve run out. As someone who’s spent years working in the beauty industry, that’s probably the biggest compliment I could give a product.
Umberto Giannini Grow Scalp Scrub
If there’s one product that has completely changed the health of my hair, it’s this scalp scrub. I use it every couple of weeks to remove build-up from styling products and dry shampoo, and my hair always feels lighter, cleaner and has noticeably more lift afterwards. I’ve tried plenty of scalp treatments over the years, but I always come back to this one because it lathers effortlessly, smells divine and is effective without feeling harsh. It makes every hair wash feel like a reset.

Dots for Spots
I never let myself run out of these! They’re always my first port of call whenever a blemish appears, helping to quickly minimise the size of the spot while speeding up the healing process. As someone who’s a self-confessed squeezer, they’ve saved me countless times from making breakouts much worse. It’s one of those products you don’t necessarily think about until you need it. But trust me, when you do need them, you’ll be so grateful they’re to hand.

Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser & Body Balm Duo
The ultimate IYKYK products. And, if you don’t know, I strongly suggest you to get to know. This duo turns my everyday showering routine into the most precious moment of toddler-free self-care. The scent is beyond heavenly and my skin never feels as smooth and silky as when I’m using them. As with most things, there are cheaper alternatives on the market, but I always come back to this duo because the nourishment is truly unmatched and the scent lasts on my skin all day.

Tan-Luxe Express Mousse
I’ve tested more fake tans than I care to admit, but this is the one I come back to every single time when I need a flawless and completely natural-looking tan that doesn’t smell like biscuits! It blends into my skin so effortlessly, develops in just one hour, and fades far more gracefully than any other formula I’ve tried. The mousse is clear with no guide colour (so it won’t stain your clothes or sheets) and, although this fact may concern some when it comes to ensuring even application, the spread-ability and intense hydration of this formula genuinely make it pretty impossible to mess up. This has remained my benchmark for tanning products since it launched in 2023 and, so far, nothing has come close.

Maison Margiela Replica ‘Lazy Sunday Morning’ Eau de Toilette
If I had to choose one signature fragrance for the rest of my life, this would definitely be it. Fresh, feminine and comforting, this scent combines delicately balanced notes of florals and musks to capture that irresistible feeling of climbing into freshly washed bed linen. I’ve worn it throughout countless seasons of my life, including when I first met my husband back in 2019 – so it’s a special one that has always felt like ‘me’. And that’s exactly what a scent should be.
